the hydraulic cylinder can't move often occurs on the newly installed hydraulic cylinder

Jan 13, 2021

Hydraulic cylinder is used in many industries. Once it fails, the impact will be far-reaching and the progress of various tasks will be hindered. In fact, many customers have reported that the hydraulic cylinder cannot be operated. In order to solve this problem in time, we must first find out what is causing the problem.

Generally speaking, the problem that the hydraulic cylinder can't move often occurs on the newly installed hydraulic cylinder. Generally, it is necessary to check from external factors, such as whether the mechanism dragged by the hydraulic cylinder has too much resistance, whether it is stuck, or resists others. Components, etc.; whether the hydraulic cylinder oil inlet pressure value is within the specified value range.

After these factors are eliminated, check the interior of the hydraulic cylinder. For example, the oil may not enter the hydraulic cylinder; the sliding parts of the cylinder itself are too tight; or the hydraulic cylinder is improperly designed and manufactured.

To further troubleshoot the problem, check the hydraulic cylinder's oil pipes, oil passages, especially hose joints, to see if they are blocked; as well as the valve seat of the overflow valve, once there is dirt, it will also cause the cone valve and the valve seat to be sealed If it is not good, it will cause leakage, and the dirt needs to be cleaned up in time.

The hydraulic cylinder does not work due to improper design and manufacturing, because when the piston returns to the end point, the oil pressure cannot act on the effective working area of the piston, or the effective working area is too small when starting, which causes problems.
